About #artscienceEARTH
This project is about connecting with the nature in our own back yards. Topics interest include horticulture, agronomy, drought resistance, ethnobotany, no till farming, biology, ecology, organic chemistry, photography, propagation and more.
I'm an advocate for green and eco-friendly concepts in everything from your front yard to the farmlands.
I believe that No Till Agriculture is how we stop climate change and that treating all land like an ecosystem, including crops, benefits everyone.
I am currently rooted in Southern California, USDA Hardiness Zone 9a so, I believe in the ideas of permaculture and ethnobotany as Drought Solutions.
I believe that Insects, Wildlife and Ecology are just as important to growth as Nitrogen, Phosphorous and Potassium.
Most importantly, this project is designed to facilitate my own education. My disclaimer is that I am not an expert. I am here to learn as much as I can.
However, I make a great effort to vet my sources and provide information that everyone can benefit from and it's important to me that ideas are validated with the science of trial and error.
Cheers,
Josh
Ecology and Garden
Here at artscience84, balance is everything. The science side of things is just as important to this project and this blog is the dedication to that. Every gardener would benefit from keeping a journal.
Analyzing and consulting data can play a key role in the success of all growers, hobbyists and professionals alike.
This is my garden journal, currently rooted in SoCal USDA Hardiness Zone 9a.
